Standard and personalized Masonic license plates may be issued for passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, motorcycles and trailers. Standard Masonic license plates may be issued for a fee of $35.00 plus a 50 cent per plate Prison Industry fee. Personalized Masonic license plates may be issued for a fee of $70.00 plus a 50 cent per plate Prison Industry fee. Both fees are in addition to all other registration fees and governmental services taxes. All

applications must be stamped or otherwise validated by the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons.

The fee to duplicate the characters of a currently registered personalized plate that is not a Masonic license plate in the Masonic plate style is $70.00 plus a 50 cent per plate Prison Industry fee in addition to all other registration fees and governmental services taxes. The renewal fee for a standard Masonic license plate is $10.00. The renewal fee for a personalized Masonic license plate is $30.00. These fees are in addition to all other registration fees and governmental services taxes.

If your vehicle is currently registered you have the option of maintaining your current registration expiration date, or renewing for a full 12-month period at the time you receive your Masonic license plates. Credit for the unused portion of your current registration will be applied to your renewal. You must appear in person and surrender your current license plates to the Department in order to transfer this credit. In applicable counties, if the previous evidence of compliance of emissions standards was obtained more than 90 days ago, the vehicle must be re-inspected prior to registration. You must present Nevada evidence of insurance when you visit the DMV.

NOTE: The Department has the right to refuse any combination of letters and/or numbers that may carry connotations offensive to good taste and decency, or which would be misleading, or in conflict with any license plate series that has been issued. (NRS 482.3667 and NAC 482.320)
